My name is Jane Smith and I am one of the Bristol Standard Local Specialist Leads. I work part time at Noah’s Ark Pre-school job sharing the manager role. My background is as a teacher and I also worked as a childminder for several years while my own children were young.

As a pre-school manager I am privileged to have ongoing hands-on opportunities to work with young children and I have been involved with using the Bristol Standard as a quality improvement tool at Noah’s Ark for many years, it is an integral part of how we reflect on our practice and plan for the future. I enjoy supporting settings with their Bristol Standard journey and seeing the difference it can make.
