The Bristol Association of Neighbourhood Childcare  (BAND Ltd) provide support in the form of premises advice, financial and business planning, sustainability, Ofsted registration information, guidance on welfare and safeguarding requirements from the EYFS, policy development and opening procedures.

Becoming a Free Entitlement Provider

Early Years Pupil Premium

Early Years Pupil Premium is extra funding from the government. Early years providers will receive an extra £300 a year for each eligible child accessing the full 570 hours with them. Families will need to meet the eligibility criteria to access this funding.

All providers delivering funded early education places for three and four year olds will be eligible to apply for the EYPP. With parental information you will be able to check a child’s eligibility using our online database.

The Early Years Satellite Group

The Early Years Satellite group meet monthly to agree new priorities to feed into the Programme Management Group and The Education Capital Board.

  • Representation from the following make up the group:
  • Private, Voluntary and Independent Sectors
  • Nursery Schools and Children’s Centres
  • Service Managers
  • Education Capital Team

From time to time, we will contact all providers with details of any capital funding available.  There is currently no funding available.

A secure link to the Tribal database to allow providers to update information on cost, availability and capacity.  This will also allow us to promote your service through the Family Information Service.
