Autumn/Winter QIF

Dear Colleagues,

We hope all is well with you and your teams and that you are managing as best as you can through these extremely challenging times.

Lead teachers have had to work differently over the last few months and we know that they are fully committed to continuing to support you in any way they can. We realise that it would not be appropriate for Lead Teachers to visit settings this term but would still like to provide the opportunity for you to share developments and reflect on practice with your Lead Teacher. We would like to suggest that the Autumn/Winter QIF is carried out either by Zoom or by phone and you can discuss with your Lead Teacher which approach would be most suitable for your setting.

The focus for this QIF will be around COVID recovery, the opportunity to reflect on the ways that you have supported your children, families and staff through this time and any priorities that you have identified as you re-connect with your children and families.

Please find attached the QIF visit note. We appreciate that your time is particularly stretched right now but would like to encourage you to discuss the questions with your team prior to the meeting if this is at all possible so that thoughts from your whole team can be reflected in your discussions with your Lead Teacher.
