Dear Colleagues,
As we head towards the end of what has been the most challenging term yet in the pandemic, the Early Years team would like to send our sincere thanks to you and your teams. The levels of professionalism and commitment to the education and care of children and families shown by the early years sector in Bristol are outstanding.
We are attaching the latest edition of the Early Years Bulletin and would like to draw your attention to the first item on the Department of Education’s (DfE) Pulse survey which aims to understand the impact of COVID on the workforce and child absences. We are sure you can appreciate how important your participation in this is to let the DfE know about the huge difficulties faced by the sector. The Survey closes at midnight on 16th February. The Bulletin of course, also includes lots of other useful information and links.
For those of you who are managing to get a break in next week’s half term, we wish you a very relaxing time, and for those still open, we hope you have a calm and settled week. Thank you again for all that you do for your children and families
