Dear Colleagues,

As you may have seen in the recent EY provider’s Bulletin, Bristol Early Years is aware of significant challenges in the recruitment and retention of staff across the early education sector and has a developed a short workforce survey to help us build an accurate profile of scale of the issue here. The information provided will be crucial to the development of a sector-wide recruitment campaign as well as feed into wider discussions at a regional and national level.

We apologise for asking you to do another survey after the huge pressures of the pandemic, but we hope you will agree on the importance of this information to support a thriving early years sector for our children and families.   The survey should not take long to complete and a link to it can be found here and below.

Bristol Early Years is aware of significant challenges in recruitment and retention of staff across the early education sector. To help us build a local profile and understand the scale of the issues, we are requesting that you complete the following survey so that we can obtain some key data from you. The information and comments you provide will be used to support the development of a sector-wide campaign as well as feed into the regional profile to inform further discussion with the DfE to ensure they are aware of the current crisis.  The closing date for this survey is 20th May 2022
