Knowing a Poem

My Teddy Has a Fright by Charles Thompson

Sometimes my teddy
has a fright
when there’s a squeak
or creak at night,
so I cuddle him
and hold him tight,
until he says
he feels alright.

This poem could open up loads of conversation about feelings and emotions.  Could you find out what your children do if they have a fright?  This poem would also work fantastically well with teddy props to cuddle and hold tight!
