IMPORTANT INFORMATION; Early Years National Funding Formula Consultation Outcome - 25/26

Dear Provider of the Free Early Education Entitlement,

 

I am pleased to confirm the outcome of the annual financial consultation, which includes the base rates for 25/26 below, as agreed with Schools Forum and Bristol City Council’s Cabinet, yesterday:

 

Headlines (all rates increased!):

Under 2s rate = £10.96 per hour

Eligible 2s rate = £8.11 per hour

2s from Working Families rate = £7.96 per hour

3 and 4s rate = £5.28 per hour

EYPP = £1 per universal hour

DAF = £938 per annum

MNS = £5.27 per universal hour

EY SEN Panel = £11.50 Standard / £14.00 Standard Plus per hour

 

These rates will come into effect from 1st April 2025 and continue until 31st March 2026. Your personalised deprivation supplement rates will be shared with you in March, but I hope these increased and ratified base rates will now enable you to make business plans for the coming financial year.
