Dear Provider of the Free Early Education Entitlement,

I am pleased to confirm the outcome of the annual financial consultation, which includes the base rates for 25/26 below, as agreed with Schools Forum and Bristol City Council’s Cabinet, yesterday:

Headlines (all rates increased!):

Under 2s rate = £10.96 per hour

Eligible 2s rate = £8.11 per hour

2s from Working Families rate = £7.96 per hour

3 and 4s rate = £5.28 per hour

EYPP = £1 per universal hour

DAF = £938 per annum

MNS = £5.27 per universal hour

EY SEN Panel = £11.50 Standard / £14.00 Standard Plus per hour

These rates will come into effect from 1^st April 2025 and continue until 31^st March 2026. Your personalised deprivation supplement rates will be shared with you in March, but I hope these increased and ratified base rates will now enable you to make business plans for the coming financial year.
