Supervised toothbrushing in Early Years settings
Bristol Public Health piloted a supervised tooth brushing trial in early years settings based on the Public Health England funded project 4Children conducted looking into the feasibility of running a supervised tooth brushing programme for 2, 3 and 4 year olds in private and voluntary early years settings as well as with childminders. The report from the 4Children project can be found here.
The resources created during this 4Children project are available publically and include a presentation introducing the project to early years practitioners, story sack ideas and an information booklet designed for both practitioners and parents.
Additional resources from the Bristol Public Health supervised tooth brushing pilot are also available, including;
