Effective Primary Teaching Practice 2016

A report, Effective Primary Teaching Practice 2016, has been commissioned and produced by the Teaching Schools Council, led by Dame Reena Keeble which attempts to explain the group’s view of the most effective practice for mainstream, state-funded primary schools in England and how these practices are best supported.

The report is available to read here.

A detailed response to this, by Di Chilvers, Advisory Consultant in Early Childhood Education, former National Strategies Regional Adviser and ex Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University can be viewed on the ‘Watch me Grow‘ website which proposes an alternative view.
