Bristol & Bath ECHO and Early Education present: Recognising the Power of Relationships
Hosted by Knowle West Nursery School – Saturday 25th February 2023 – 10.00 am (for light refreshments) to 12 noon.
It feels as though there has never been a more important time to reflect on how best to promote young children’s wellbeing. Knowle West Nursery School Senior Leadership Team will share their journey of transforming policy and practice in ways that support behaviour and promoting wellbeing. Through developing
attachment aware practice and creating psychologically safe environments for children and families, staff will share reflections of how this transformed their understanding of adverse childhood experiences and their own responses to children’s different behaviours.
Case studies will demonstrate the healing power of ‘strong connections’ and how a therapeutic response can move individuals from being socially defensive and feeling isolated to a place of safety, fulfillment and joy.
