Dear Providers,

Bristol City Council would like to consult with all providers of the free entitlements on the proposed EYNFF for 2025 to 2026. There are 4 main sections, all of which have a Yes/No option and space for adding in comments. There is also a space for general comments at the end of the survey. Please complete one survey per provision (i.e. collating staff, management and owner comments) by Sunday 5^th January 2025. To support a shared discussion, a word document of all questions is attached. Please accept our apologies that the consultation period is running through the school holidays, but the rates were shared much later than anticipated by the DfE.

Below are the proposed hourly rates for the Early Years National Funding Formula for 2025/2026:

• Under 2s = £10.96
• Eligible 2 Year olds = £8.11
• 2 Year olds from Working Families = £7.96
• 3 and 4 year olds = £5.28
• DAF  = £938 per year
• EYPP = £1.00 for universal hours only

Each year we focus on one aspect of the formula; this year is Early Years SEN Panel Funding.
