The DfE has published the EYFSP results for last year. These show that nationally, 69.3% of children achieved a GLD which is an increase of 3 percentage points. The gap for children achieving at least the expected level in all ELGs decreased nearly 1% from 16.6ppts in 2015 to 15.7ppts in 2016. Both girls and boys have shown improvement but boys have improved at a faster rate.  Read the full report here.
