On arrival at the car park, PLEASE FIND A CAR PARKING SPACE AND STAY IN YOUR CAR. A member of the Early Years team will bring your PPE items to your car and pass them to you through an open window.
Just a reminder that the wearing of PPE items, specifically masks and visors ,is advised in the event of a child displaying Covid-type symptoms:
“ if a child, young person or other learner becomes unwell with symptoms of coronavirus while in their setting and needs direct personal care until they can return home. A fluid-resistant surgical face mask should be worn by the supervising adult if a distance of 2 metres cannot be maintained. If contact with the child or young person is necessary, then disposable gloves, a disposable apron and a fluid-resistant surgical face mask should be worn by the supervising adult. If a risk assessment determines that there is a risk of splashing to the eyes, for example from coughing, spitting, or vomiting, then eye protection should also be worn”
We hope the PPE items will support you in being prepared for reopening and the eventuality of a child becoming unwell in your provision. We anticipate further LA guidance today in relation to infection control and reporting and will issue this to you as soon as it is received.
With best wishes,
The Early Years Team
