Changes to Weekly Record of Attendance - from Monday 22nd June 2020

Dear Early Years Provider,
All local authorities were notified yesterday that the Department for Education are making two changes to the data collected from providers using the Weekly Record of Attendance. These changes will be in effect from Monday 22nd June. Additional questions that have been added are concerning:
- vulnerable children
- sufficiency (the availability of places)
We will share the new format with you early next week, but wanted to communicate this change as soon as possible to prevent any unnecessary records being completed next week.
As per our previous announcements, from 1st June, NURSERY SCHOOLS AND NURSERY CLASSES OF SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIES NO LONGER NEED TO MAKE THIS WEEKLY RETURN – WE WILL GATHER THE INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT TO BCC VIA S2S.
